Sometimes, like when slightly change the color or touching up existing paint only one coat may be necessary. If a surface is unpainted it will often need a fresh coat or two of primer to last and look nice. Drastic color changes may need primer or removal as well. Our paint material specialists will educate you on the pros and cons of the number of coats and help you make the best choice for your project. We will always add another coat if you wish for whatever reason.
